Example project

Explore the ECC83 schematic and PCB

The ECC83 push-pull amplifier is an existing KiCad demo project you can open in NOMOREDA. Use it to explore a schematic and board together before bringing in your own design.

Open your own copy of the example

  1. Open NOMOREDA

Go to the homepage and select Start designing.

  2. Choose the sample

In the temporary-workspace start screen, select ECC83 push-pull amplifier and choose your editor layout. This flow is available without an account when temporary workspaces are enabled.

  3. Inspect, edit, and export

Switch between the schematic and PCB, select components, inspect their properties, and try a small edit. Use Export project to KiCad (.zip) to download your project copy and inspect it in KiCad.

If you are already in your account workspace, you can import the schematic and PCB from the native downloads below. The account workspace has its own example selection.

If you already have a temporary project, opening the sample may replace it after confirmation. Export anything you want to keep first. Temporary workspaces expire after two hours of inactivity or 24 hours in total.

What the example contains

The bundled design is ECC Push-Pull, revision 0.1, dated 21 March 2015. It includes the schematic, PCB, KiCad project settings, a local symbol library, footprints, library tables, and the valve's 3D model. Standard KiCad 3D libraries are not bundled; install them in KiCad for the remaining models.

In the editor, compare how a component appears on the schematic and on the PCB. Look at reference designators, pin and pad connections, copper tracks, and component placement. The supplied board gives you a concrete reference for learning navigation and file exchange.

These individual downloads are the native design documents. For the bundled project and its supporting resources, open the sample and use the project export.

An editing example with a specific limitation

This valve amplifier uses hazardous high voltages. It is provided to exercise editing and file interoperability, not as a build recommendation. No electrical safety or manufacturing approval is implied. Review exported files and seek appropriate engineering expertise before building or operating hardware.
